HawkEye 360’s radio signal monitoring service now delivers daily signal geolocation data for large regions

HawkEye 360 Inc has announced a daily Regional Awareness Subscription (RAS) service which leveraging its RFGeo product. The service allows its customers to identify, monitor, and analyse radio frequency signal behaviour over time. Large-scale radio frequency (RF) signal mapping provides situational awareness in these regions, with the data sets enabling trend analysis using traditional and artificial intelligence algorithms.
Subscribers will receive a daily collection of RF data, allowing them to gain insight into their regions, establish historical analysis, and augment other geospatial intelligence solutions. They can also access periodic data and analytics for their areas of interest.
The company will work with customers to define a Regional Awareness Subscription that can span millions of square kilometres. Current RAS collection areas include the Mediterranean, South China Sea, and the Korean Peninsula. HawkEye 360 curates a collection plan that routinely gathers a combination of high-demand signals. The RF signal that have been detected are characterised and geolocated over the region, and delivered in an open standard GeoJSON format that integrates with most applications.
HawkEye 360’s RFGeo product identifies and geolocates RF signals collected by the company’s proprietary satellite constellation. RFGeo is a commercially available product offering global spectrum awareness across a broad range of radio signals. The company plans to expand the Regional Awareness Subscription service to include new areas of interest important to customers.
